Hi Dean,
Have you tried a flight with skytrack and use the IF Fly! button with FSX not already running? So that IF launches FSX and goes straight into the sim with skytrack running from there.

Hi Dean,

Dean B wrote:I've just noticed that for every flight I've started via IF, this software [SkyTrack] is recording both PAX and Cargo at 0 value

There is no need for a "monitor" as such to get these particular values, since they can be read in when you ask SkyTrack to end recording, it's not like they needed to be recorded throughout the flight. If you can save a flight and there are loads allocated then these are your cargo and pax.

There seems to be a need for careful starting and stopping SkyTrack and maybe is sensitive to the sim not having been unpaused or something.

Since IF starts a flight by making FSX load a .FLT file, can you try running FSX from a .FLT file generated by IF (open in Explorer) then running SkyTrack? I would like to know if that works. If it works then there may be a problem with SkyTrack using simconnect if it's already running and this might need reporting to the developer.

Also does your FSUIPC restore the last flight? You can try turning that function off as it can make unwanted changes to a .FLT file.

...scrap the simconnect idea, I don't think it uses it, instead using only the FSUIPC functionality.

Hi Dean,
a better one, when you get a chance can you try:
http://download.codelegend.com/idealflight/Ideal_Flight_Setup_10_011se_pre2.zip
there was a possiility of the aircraft resetting maybe causes the skytrack problem.
Thanks

After testing with the stock 737 and A321 I've found the No Smoking and Seatbelt passenger sign systems work perfectly.
:ugeek:

What I do know is the PMDG 737 and other addons use these "redundant" signals for something else, one even says so in the manual. Some may rob both or just the No Smoking sign. The light and sounds may operate, but there's nothing coming from the plane.

If your addon uses the No Smoking and Seatbelt passenger sign systems normally then they can be used for the assessment, otherwise they must be unchecked in the Mission page: Monitored Systems section. It is a problem of some addon aircraft and nothing to do with IF!
