If I purchase the FSX version (so I can use it with Prepar3d for now) will I be entitled to use the license for the FSX version with the Prepar3d version? I've heard this product is good as a launcher for Prepar3d.

At the moment there is no restriction as to which program is launched, please go ahead and use IF to launch P3D. Eventually IF will be able to neatly install for FSX and P3D versions alike.

Although I am uncertain, I expect the way things will work is that you can install for FSX or P3D, but not both at once - a small license fee will be required. You'll be able to use on both but will require uninstall/reinstall between FSX/P3D. Although there will be no restriction to the way you set up P3D to mimic FSX operating.

Thanks for your interest!

Hi,

I just purchased your product (the FSX version). I only run prepar3d but I can usually get 3rd party software to work with Prepar3d. On this occassion, it looks like I have to make a copy of prepar3d.exe and rename it fsx.exe to have IF pick up the running process. Although this works, I then seem to loose my track ir headset and flight controls probably because of running the fsx.exe (even though it is prepar3d). Can you please indicate a timeframe for prepar3d compatibility because as it stands IF is practically unusable for me until I can run everything together. I do like your product as it masquerades nicely as a launcher interface for prepar3d. I see that your previous post was a couple of months ago when you said you would have a prepar3d installer/fix. Please advise.

Yes, the timeline moved on a little since we recently got into boxing the product with Flight1. Back on schedule very soon...

Steve, you're a champion. I hope others will see your product as a usable interface of Prepar3d. Keep up the great work. Any idea how long this could take, just a ball park is fine (if able :geek: )

Keep poking me or I may forget all about P3D :o

Got delayed again with the Flight1 box version due to holiday season, but even so I'm working on the P3D core. I don't want to say it will be along very soon in case I meet some snags, but looks OK from here.

We are still undecided on the license, but it's not a plane or scenery so it is looking like two separate products right now IF10 and IFP. The thing is P3D is moving on and IFP can take advantage of that.
Speak again soon...

Thanks Steve,

No intention to push you over just keen to get this working in P3d as currently I have a product that I cannot use.

Cheers,

Kelvin
