Update faux pas

Postby Dean B » Thu Feb 16, 2012 8:58 pm

Steve,

Just updated after a lay-off but now have lost my pilot.

Should I have run backup first?

Hi Dean,
If it's been a long time and have neot been updated then it could have become incompatible as new features were added, but you would have to go back several months...
If you had a backup you could load the old copies and bring it up to spec.
But the profile score is just a bit of fun, if it's lost, I would get going with a fresh profile.
I've not got a profile with more than 20 flights on it, as keep messin around :)

It was rl Steve, but not to worry.

I'll re-start and try the new features out!

Sorry about that Dean.
I have to admit i'm not sure what caused your problem. The last change to affect the profile was way back. I know some people like to keep score (so do I) and I thought i'd been fairly dilligent in keeping the profile throughout updates. Could be I've since fixed the cause of your problem now. I'll keep checking though.
Just tweaking [ro] traffic, and a few other things, be uploading soon.
Best regards
