Favorite airports

Postby hjmx » Thu Dec 22, 2011 7:33 pm

Steve,

is there a way how I can edit my favorite airports. I have about 120 addon airports and I only want to fly between them - don' want to use any of the default airports. Just to add a list of ICAO codes would be great. Is this possible. Are there any cfg or ini files where I can add and edit this list?

kind regards

Hi,

Yes you can make a new airport subset in the flight generator page. Have a look at the Hub Airpoorts set. They can be used to act as a filter, although in this case you will need many to make routes between them. You can add airports in the world map page. You can select the subset in the map page and choose airports from the list.

More in the help (F1 click on index).

All the best;

Another Idea:
Run the Scenery Report (Red Globe Icon on World Map page and Info page).
All your addon scenery can be found and you can see the set of airports contained in each scenery file.
You can put these in a subset (notepad is easy, one ICAO per line).
