Fantastic effort.

I found out what caused it. It was already fixed in 09 as it happened. Well done again for spotting the difficult problems.

Preview 09 is imminent and a very big upgrade over 08.

I want to mention how the Start Apps window now works. We can move within the list and press spacebar or enter to select the item. The box resorts to showing only those items in that starting period, and the selected item is still the one we chose. We can now press spacebar or enter to edit that item.

Before now general use of the program from the keyboard was difficult but that has been the number one priority in the 09 build.

The accessibility work adding three to four months to the project is not much to be concerned about and has served to overhaul the entire program and should be a more satisfying program in use by all when completed. Then there are some more upgrades in the pipeline.

Thanks again for such valuable feedback and support from the bvipilots group and friends.

I'm not sure if somebody already reported this, but in preview 08 switching screen readers while a flight is in progress caused two access violations. If I can find it in the flight log I can put those details here. It specifically happened when shutting down NVDA and I switched to Jaws for a second.

Yes that's correct. I mentioned you can't change readers or run up a second reader without popups being a very big possibility as it's not handled strictly in 08. Thanks! In 09 it is strict. However I will definitely be checking for popups and errors in 09 as there's a good possibility something's not completed yet. In 09 I settled on a way to control the flow of keyboard events which meant altering some controls like the lists. So there's the possibility of new problems. I'm giving each item a good check to avoid any unnecessary snags.

Yes, I'm just checking through the four versions 09. looks good. One item to go I'm looking at right now. Found a couple of things to do late Friday so had to abort uploading at the weekend.

Found a couple of more loose ends during the round up and testing so delay again rather than let you run into problems too early.

I have included a progress dialog during flight builds on the Browse Airports and Flight Generator pages.

Plus I have added lots of nips and tucks all the way through the program to convey the right messages and automate procedures.

There's plenty of scope to play around with the descriptions and messages as well, but they should be pretty good as it stands right now. I found plenty of text and descriptions to amend. All the pages have the new keyboard routines in and working well, no popups.

I am still genuinely hoping to upload build 09 at the end of the next development session. Will have to find out how testing goes tonight.

...something unavoidable came up. I am in final testing of 09 basically ready to package and upload, but have to deal with another matter right now. Back soon.
