Windows 10 and the Load Save Dialog size

Postby Steve Waite » Fri Dec 11, 2015 10:33 am

Windows 10 brings a problem for certain Open and Save File dialog windows that cannot be resized to small dimensions. Screen Imp is affected and an update is due in January 2016.

Many thanks go out to supporters of Screen Imp, and Ideal Flight.

Please don't hesitate to try Screen Imp as it mostly works in free mode. When applying the inexpensive license key code, right-click on the Screen Imp desktop icon and choose Run as Admin from the popup menu, then register the Screen Imp license key code with the registration function from the pop menu while running as admin. Otherwise no need to run as admin, so do not check the admin properties box in the Properties window of the icon.

The Screen Imp update will be delayed for more work, expect at least after February, since the latest Windows 10 updates have cured the problems with the open save dialog windows.
