and now if 10 pro is asking me to register again
have got key from flight one but not sure what should happen as the key seems to be a regedit file

does it need to be put in a folder somewhere?

Yep, the new operating system means you need to re-register. So start IF10 Pro, choose Register from the popup menu, Name or email in top box, Flight1 registration Keycode in the lower box, press register.

After you first installed IF10 Pro you must have run it up and gone to that registration form from the popup menu, and you must have put a keycode from Flight1 into the lower box. That's the same code you put in the box if you change the machine or OS significantly.

Some versions of IF10 come in the Flight1 wrapper, which provide the keycode in the package when unwrapped. Other versions come straight from downloading the IF10 setup file. The Registration form is used to enter the keycode to fully unlock all versions of IF10 once it is installed and running in demo mode. If the machine or operating system changes significantly, the program will require re-registering. This simply involves pasting the original keycode from Flight1 into the Registration form again, and the servers will be contacted and the program unlocked if the code is valid.

I deleted your post with the F1 registry key.

You have a keycode with the purchase looks something like "YGKUZPH8-J6LKDY64" (I made up that code). After you first run IF10 Pro you would have put your code in the Registration form. And so when we change machines we have to register with Flight1, and use the same code again. Keep the code safe that's your serial.

Garry, if you run up IF10 Pro, at the startup page (with the night view from the tower), right-click and choose Register from the popup menu.

PS: flight1 seem to think win 10 may not be compatible with IF

why's that? IF10 Pro is Win 10 compatible throughout, don't change any compatibility settings for IF10 folks.
